About the Authors

Maxine Jones is a passionate Jamaican lecturer and author. Her dedication to become a published author grew stronger when she organized the celebration of National Reading Week as the President Elect of the Jamaica Literacy Association in 2020.

Drawing from her teaching and editing background, Maxine is committed to crafting captivating stories for children worldwide.

 

Carlene Jones is a former Jamaican teacher of English who currently resides abroad.

This is her first foray into writing for the children’s genre and it has fuelled her desire to produce similar works for the future. She’s passionate about sharing her Jamaican experience with a global audience.
