This book is being published at a time when society is very slowly awakening to the existence of those who are suffering from mental ill health. The book is an attempt to educate teachers, students, caregivers, aspiring para-medical and medical practiioners, public health workers and even the police, in a commendable effort to provide them with some information on the probable causes of mental ill health and some knowledge of the vocabulary in use in the field of mental health care.
